Mission
My mission is to love and inspire people, to promote a high quality of life, optimal health and true wellness through a holistic practice. I encompass an approach that includes science based, whole food nutrition, herbal remedies, plant medicine, movement, self-love, food psychology, food relationship, consciousness, trauma healing and spirituality.
About Me
Hello, my name is Audra!
I hold a B.S. from Western Oregon University in Speech Communications with a minor in Health and Fitness.
I hold a MScN degree from National University of Natural Medicine with a strong focus on medical nutrition therapy, herbal medicine and holistic healing to include food psychology, food relationship and intuitive eating.
I am a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner.
My experience includes a clinical nutrition rotation at NUNM and a nutrition internship working with special needs clients in a group home setting. I was also fortunate to travel to Thailand and study herbal cooking and organic farming and I spent the first 4 years of my career in nutrition working in a clinical setting utilizing medical nutrition therapy and food psychology, both 1:1 and in the group setting.
I am a certified group fitness instructor. Although currently on hiatus, I have taught Group Groove, Hip Hop Hustle, PiYo, Turbokick and Insanity.
My primary career, prior to nutrition, was as a police and fire dispatcher and emergency medical call taker. I was fortunate during my time in emergency services to instruct Tactical Combat Casualty Care and First Aid/CPR to our police officers.
I have a beautiful daughter who experiences multiple special needs, including a feeding tube. I have been using a whole food, organic, blenderized diet for her since 2007... I joke I was doing this before is was cool and I specialize in blenderized diets! I have also worked diligently to wean her from pharmaceuticals and replace them with natural options whenever possible.
The medical journey I have been on with her, in combination with my career history and education has offered me a multitude of experiential knowledge in medical care, conditions, psychology and trauma, and ultimately is what brings me to you today!
While I have a heart for complex clients and enjoy offering medical nutrition therapy, my practice has shifted to focusing on the psychology behind food. I have found that until we address our relationship with food and our mindset around prioritizing ourselves, we are unable to successfully access treatment plans.
It has become my passion to offer freedom in life through our relationship with self and food!
In my free time I love experimenting in the kitchen, hiking, wine tasting, stand up comedy, dancing, traveling, exploring other cultures, herbalism, hanging out with my kiddo, family and friends and volunteering at the women's crisis center and with special needs children.
I look forward to meeting you!

Principles & Beliefs
I support whole food, organic and sustainable nutrition for ALL people.
I believe in proactive vs reactive healthcare that is collaborative with the patient.
I believe all humans have the right to access healthy, delicious food and compassionate, integrated healthcare with equity.
I believe in treating the source of the problem and not focusing on the symptoms.
I believe the body is a complete system and has the incredible ability to heal itself, given the right conditions. I believe that science alone cannot answer all elements of humanity, and I support food as the ultimate medicine.
I believe in abundance, innate self worth, play, rest, vulnerability, self awareness, love and joy.
My mission is to be an ambassador for these truths and to love and support each person who reaches out to me for help, with acceptance and an open mind.
I commit to meeting you right where you are, so that we can walk your unique path together. May we eat well, love abundantly and live fully nourished!
**I lovingly and gratefully welcome all clients regardless of race, country of origin, age, ability level, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, body size, past personal history, religion or any other quality you have previously experienced as a barrier. I stand with you. You are safe here.
